Stay at home when sick to prevent spread of flu
Wash hands frequently.
Cover your coughs and sneezes with a hanky or your elbow if you don’t have a hanky.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
Clean and disinfect surfaces that are most likely to be disinfected (door handles, computer keyboards, desks, toys etc.)
Know the warning signs of asthma (difficulty in breathing, wheeze, cough that won’t stop, fast breathing, tight neck and chest muscles)
Try to avoid common asthma triggers
Carry quick action inhaler (blue) always
Take your medicines (even if you do not have symptoms) as prescribed by the doctor
Use personal protection like repellant/creams.
Wear full length clothes.
Discard waste in covered bins.
Discard, cover or turn over any container that can collect even a small amount of water.
Clean, scrub and replace water in water bowls for pets, vases or drip plates every week
Wash hands with soap and water before eating food and after using toilet. Carry sanitizer if soap and water are not available.
Avoid raw food outside.
Eat fresh and well cooked food preferably when it hot.
Wash fruits and vegetables well.
Avoid sharing personal items like towels.
